Painted from direct encounter with nature

My work is rooted in the wild landscapes of Transylvania, where high mountains, forests, wetlands and open skies still carry a sense of quiet mystery.

I travel frequently through these regions, creating plein air studies and gathering impressions that later become oil paintings in the studio.

Working primarily alla prima, each piece is completed in a direct, intuitive process that preserves the immediacy of the moment.

Every painting is entirely hand-made and exists only once.

Alla prima oil painting

I work primarily using the alla prima technique - painting wet-on-wet in a continuous session that captures movement, atmosphere and presence.

This direct approach keeps each work alive with the energy of the moment in which it was created.

From plein air studies to finished studio paintings, the process remains rooted in observation and real encounters with wildlife and landscape.
